About Zach
For a long time, I have enjoyed helping people to solve math problems! Whether that has been in school with my peers, or with students of mine in classroom teaching experiences that I have had during my time thus far in college, I find it enjoyable to talk about and teach math! I am currently a Junior in college, going into my senior year and studying to become a Math teacher, certified in 4th-8th grade. It's great when I can see a student or peer experience the "lightbulb" moment, when something finally clicks for them. I want to make a positive impact in people's lives, and I enjoy making learning fun for students. I enjoy not just teaching them, but getting to know them as people too!

I will plan to start out getting to know the student for the first twenty or thirty minutes of the first session, and then we'll get into content. If I feel that it would be beneficial, I may have them fill out an interest worksheet, including some of the actviities and hobbies they enjoy.
