About Elizabeth
I started teaching because I wanted to be a teacher that transformed the way a student learns. I am a firm believer on differentiation and I believe that a teacher should meet a student at their level.
Bachelors Degree: Elem. Education from Texas State University
Masters Degree: Curriculum & Instruction (Math & Science) from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley
26 hours in a Doctoral Program focused on Curriculum & Instruction specializaing in Special Education, Bilingualism, Decolonizing Pedagogies, Technology, Curriculum Transformation.
-2 years teaching Math for ESL, GT, and general education students
-STEM summer program teacher
-1 year teaching all subjects for special education

I have worked with general education students, ESL students which are students who's first language is not english, and special education students.
A recent event that I am currently proud of is my students getting bumped up a grade level in math.
