About Abigail
I first started tutoring because it was a requirement of my National Honor Society chapter, but then I found out I truly loved it!
I am only a freshman in college, but I have been volunteer tutoring since my junior year of high school. Throughout these three years, I have tutored in 2nd grade classrooms, special education environments, and one-on-one with junior high and high school students.

Every student is different, but first, I always try to talk with them and their parent(s) about the goals of this tutoring. The approach I take to get someone to pass a test (like the ACT, SAT, or GED) is different than the approach I use to help someone pass a class or generally gain more understanding of the topic.
Students of all ages! Also, I have worked a bit with hearing disabled and ESL students (I speak a tiny bit of Spanish and decent German).
I would say to look for someone who you are comfortable with and empowers you to do your best, no matter what your best is! :-)
