About DEBORAH
I'm an experienced special education teacher teaching for over 13 years. I've taught students in the areas of reading, writing, and math for a range of grade levels. I've cotaught 3rd and 4th grade and had my own classroom/resource room for grades 3-6. Prior to this I spent 7 years in Kindergarten classrooms. I have a strong understanding and compassion for both students and parents. I am patient and make the connection and trust with the student my priority. I also have been trained in specific reading programs such as Wilson Reading, Just Words, Haggerty PA, Verbalizing and Visualizing and several others.
I enjoy working with students. I especially love to see their own personal growth as they develop skills to improve their learning.
