About Mili
Since I was in middle school, I have loved tutoring children and as I got older, tutoring was the easiest job available for me during high school and now since COVID hit, I am sitting at home in college and I would like to get back into it because I know many kids are struggling without the proper resources that schools usually offer. I would like to reach out and help.
I have a little brother at home and he needed help all the time and whenever my friends get confused about topics, I usually found a way to explain them because I struggled with the same issues as well. Additionally, most of my life was in such tutoring or after-school services so I got to teach there as a pastime. From there, I grew into a successful tutor for many people.
I am a college student and have gotten numerous community service hours due to tutoring for 4+ years.

I try to see what homework they are getting and what trouble they are having with it and from there I can gauge what they know and what they don't know. From there, I like to explain what they don't know in a general problem of that sort or in the context of the specific problem so that they can do the other ones.
I used to work with elementary and middle school kids, and I worked with high school kids as a part of my high school's volunteer tutoring service.
Try to see how old the tutor is and how close they are to your age or maybe how close they are to you geographically. Sometimes, being the same age or in the same area creates a common ground of experiences and may help to learn better.
I had a friend who was having trouble with trigonometry and found out that he did not know what special triangles were so I shared my screen and drew all the properties out to him and he got an A on his triangles exam in Geometry.
