About Erica

After earning my bachelor's of science in Biology and my master's of public health degrees, I learned that one of my truest passions is teaching. I teach using active learning to engage and instruct in all forms of learning so that each student can find what they like and we can use what works best. I have taught 2nd grade students up through graduate students in STEM fields.

I was asked to help out my peers from a very young age, but I never officially started teaching until around 10 years ago.

I am a university level introductory biology teachers assistant (TA). I also have 5 years of tutoring experience, honed people skills, 3 years of clinical research laboratory work experience, practiced elementary, middle school, highschool, and college classroom presentation skills, and an unending desire to teach.

About the lesson

I will ask you a few questions about how you learn and what you think you need help on. Then I will ask you some questions on the material to see where I think you are. I will have you send me any material that you have that you would like to work on and we will take it from there!

Students age 5 to 45 at all levels and in a variety of subjects.
