About Persephone
I am completing my last year of college as a math major. With 3 years of tutoring experience, my favorite part is when I see the lightbulb go off for the student. I have helped numerous students go from struggling and lost to thriving.
I would help my friends learn math. Then realized I enjoyed it. So I continued from there.
I'm my last year of college as a math major. I have tutored Middle school, High school & College students. Math internship at a magnet school & an internship in a public high school.

I get to know the student and see what is their learning style. Each person learns differently and at their own paced. I customize my tutoring to each individuals needs. Patient and love teaching math.
I have worked with a range of students. Which has helped me to see that everyone learns differently. I have worked with students who like to see how the math problem is done then repeat it, AP students, students who like to do trial and error and, students with learning disabilities.
