About Jake

I’m an aerospace engineer and former collegiate athlete with 10+ years tutoring and coaching experience.

After years of research, I created a unique educational program designed to address the more systematic issues students have in school.

My program includes, yet goes beyond, traditional tutoring methods to address the whole person, not just the specific math or science problem.

Helping students become happier and healthier while improving their grades in school.

Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering

Bachelor Degree in Physics

10+ years of Tutoring and Coaching

About the lesson

Starts with a short phone call with the parent and student to understand the issues from both perspectives. Then, I will match you with one of our many qualified tutors to start scheduling your sessions.

High school and middle school students in all subject areas.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by students with Jake.

Perfect! We decided to do homeschool this year because of covid, but I'm not a science/engineering person at all. So I hired UA Tutoring to help do some STEM with my son once a week, and it has been a delight working with these guys. Nathaniel was always prompt and consistent. He always had super cool experiments and projects to do with my son, and he was able to explain it in a way that my son understood. Really great experience.

Perfect! My son's tutor, Keara, is outstanding. It's really helpful that she comes to our house. Jake made it easy to get started. I would definitely recommend Universal Achievement.
