About Tiffany

As a recent high school graduate, I have the most up to date information on how schools conduct their classes, and can tailor my teaching style to suit those of students' school teachers.

Through high school and college, I've tutored 50+ peers and younger students. Although I specialize in math, I can teach all STEM subjects, and SAT. I've scored all 5s on AP tests, with a 1570 SAT score (December 2018).

I have a thorough archive of notes, quizzes, and tests that I have collected from high school. I also have access to blank quizzes and tests for Calculus and Multivariable Calculus students.

I love to see the "lightbulb" moment. All students are different, and get to this moment of understanding differently. It's a lot of fun working with students to carve their path towards this moment.

2016-2020: Tutoring peers and neighbors' kids, in math and science K-12 and SAT reading and writing.

2020: Math coach at Mr. Jan's Math Class in Sugar Land.

About the lesson

I ask them for general questions first.

Sometimes students don't come with any questions, so I just go through a review of the material they are learning.

I show an example by doing a problem by myself. Then, I let them dive in a do a problem on their own.

I answer questions to any problems that arise.

If there is more time left, I will give the student a preview of material up ahead.

I don't believe students can be categorized in "types". Every student is sooo different. Their learning processes are unique to them.
