About Zionah

I stand out because I am only 13. Therefore I can connect with my students as someone their age. I have straight A's and work hard in all my classes. I am very patient with students and make it obvious that I enjoy working with them.

I enjoy tutoring because it helps kids who are struggling to get better because there is no reason someone can't succeed with a little help. I have tutored three of my siblings in the past and realized I truly enjoyed it.

I realized I enjoyed teaching after I began to tutor my little siblings.

About the lesson

I typically start with a simple assessment of their skills and look at their personality before assigning work. If they struggle in a subject that's what we will start with. I show them websites to help them depending on their personality such as an educational game rather than a textbook.

I have worked with kids grades K - 7th and kids with disabilities.

If there is a way they can solve the problem themselves or if they need to be walked through the step or just have someone to correct them if they're wrong.
