About Patrick
Hi my name is Patrick Hubeny.
I am a Math Instructional Leader and Department Chairperson with over 20 years of experience in teaching math and supervising teachers. For over a decade, I have held a leadership position where I support teachers in delivering math instruction that fosters student success and confidence. My focus is on developing students' mathematical practices, perseverance, and sense-making.
I truly embrace helping students build skills, not only to support the content they are currently learning but also to foster the development of transferable skills, work ethic, and the mindset to be successful independent learners. Encourage them to develop confidence, perseverance in problem-solving, and the ability to engage in meaningful conversations about problem-solving.
