About Charlie
Learning is more than just getting good grades; its about setting the foundation for success in every avenue in your child's life.
I'm an engineering student majoring in Environmental Engineering at UConn Storrs. I have tutored in the past at the Quantitative Learning Center, located in UConn's Homer Babbage Library, where I've helped students with Calculus I-IV, Physics I (classical principles), Physics II (Electric and magnetic fields), and have TA'd for the civil engineering course, Applied Mechanics I.

First I like to get to know them, their strengths and weaknessess, learning style, and what drives them as a student, whether they are very motivated to learn or need a little push. I want to know what their goals are and why they are seeking tutoring. After that I will assess their competency in the subjects they want to improve in and go from there.
I've tutored students at a freshman to sophomore college level.
It's okay to ask for help; some people can pick up concepts and do well in school naturally, while others need to work harder to get where they want. I think everyone has their own path on their road to success.
