About Bond
I am a full-time software engineer with a Master's degree in Computing and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Programming can be overwhelming, but with someone to walk you through it, it can become very fun and satisfying. I love to teach and will help you with whatever your goals are. I'll help you feel confident in your abilities and be successful, no matter your age or skill level.
I am most experienced with C, C++, Python, and Java but I have used other languages as well. I currently tutor multiple teenage students in Python fundamentals. I'm experienced with embedded systems. I also have some basic circuitry knowledge, so if you're learning for a fun engineering experience we can make some cool projects. I'd also be happy to teach math up to algebra.
Hablo español. I speak Spanish fluently. With my Bachelor's degree, I earned a Spanish Language Certificate at the Advanced level. I'd love to help you learn Spanish. I'm good at helping students truly understand the language so they can speak on their own rather than just memorizing phrases. I've helped several people learn Spanish on a volunteer basis and have volunteered as an interpreter.
I can also help Spanish speakers who are learning English or other subjects. I have professional experience helping English-learners with technology and practicing their language skills at the BYU English Language Center.
