About Laura
There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing a student gain confidence in their ability to apply newfound knowledge. For over 8 years now, I've had the privilege to tutor students ranging from elementary school scholars to adults. As a tutor, I take pride in crafting each session to meet the needs of my student, acknowledging that each student is unique with their own knowledge and experiences.
I began tutoring as a high school student. I've always loved supporting my peers and sharing my knowledge, so tutoring made a great deal of sense. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
I began tutoring as a member of the National Honor Society in high school. From there, I served as a TA at Mount Holyoke College for Astronomy, Calculus, and Psychology. In addition, I was named a Peer-Led Undergraduate Mentor for Chemistry and Physics. Meanwhile, I served as an English tutor/mentor for Reader-to-Reader, supporting young students in their pursuit of knowledge. Since graduation, I have served as an educator in mathematics and biology and have consistently tutored in a range of STEM subjects.

I begin by building rapport with my student, learning about their current academic endeavors, and deciphering their goals moving forward. From there, we collaborate to establish a plan to help them achieve those goals.
I have worked with a range of students, from elementary scholars to adults.
