About Sarah
I am a current senior in University studying Mathematics so I understand the hardship. I believe this gives me a solid understanding of the frustration a student may be going to and help them where they need it the most. My goal is to help each and every one of my students succeed in math and maybe even find a new passion in the subject.
I absolutely love studying math, my father made math fun for me as a child and that love has only grown through my years at university. I love that math always has a solution to any problem and a clear path to get to that solution.
I first started teaching as a teacher's assisant and high school and loved to excitment of getting break throughs with my students!
I am currently a Senior at the Univeristy of California-Riverside majoring in Mathematiccs so all of the course work is fresh in my mind. I also worked as a camp counselor for 3 years so I know how to work with all age groups and adjust my language per personalities.

I like to talk with the student and see where they feel they are struggling the most so that we can start from the beginning of that topic to really great a strong structure.
I have worked with students from the lage of 6-17. My work as a camp counselor has exposed me to many different enviroments and I have learned to adjust my teaching methods per the needs of each individual student.
Mathematics is a very complicated concept, I believe the way to excell is to find a love in the topic, to find ways that makes learning fun. A tutor works best with a student when they can bond over an enjoyment of knowledge, or in success in a topic.
