About Lori
I am currently a student myself. I have had a 25 year career in technology and decided to go back to school in Engineering. I have a strong background in all STEM subjects, including Chemistry, Biology, Math and basic engineering subjects. Because I am a student, I get when the classroom isn't enough!
I love to learn and I love to teach. Every student can conquer any subject, they just need the subject broken down into a language that they can understand.
I have a degree in Psychology and am working on a degree in Civil Engineering. I have been an instructor for a community college as well as a corporate trainer. I have also been a tutor for the last two years in multiple STEM subjects.

The first I do when I sit down with a student is listen. I listen to what the student wants to learn and their past experiences. I get information on what the students goals are and a little bit about them personally. The next thing I do is lay out a strategy on how to accomplish their goals. Sometimes that includes a review of past material to ensure the student is ready for new content. Then we continually work toward the same goal with new content and then review, new content and then review.
