About Cristian
Hello,
I hope all is well! My name is Cristian Lazaro, and ever since I can remember, math was my first passion. Solving math problems was like playing video games for me, and I hope to help you in the best possible way I can, so math feels the same way fun and exciting. Formally I have a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Cal Poly SLO have 2+ years of experience as a Statistics tutor. I take scientifically proven approaches to teaching students, and I dedicated to making tailored plans to your needs and wants. From my experience what I enjoy the most, is those moments where I see the individual is beginning to understand i.e 'aha moment' when they make the transformation from struggling to being able to explain or teach someone else.

My typical process depends on your goals. But in general, I will begin the first session by asking what are your immediate pain points what is your number one goal for the meeting and your goals for the subject matter you are learning. Afterward, I would explain and teach the subject matter in a feedback-driven manner to develop an appropriate teaching style. Lastly, I would provide my personally created documents outlining how to best learn any math related subject, best study methods, and most common mistakes when it comes to learning math.
