About Jason

Greetings! if you're reading this and find yourself needing a tutor for subjects such as chemistry, physics, math, etc. I would love to assist. I am currently a physics student in college, and I'm looking to practive what I have learned by helping others succeed. In high school I often stayed after school to help my friends and peers catch up and learn material they were having trouble with in courses such as physics, chem, and calculus. I do not have a degree yet, however I'm offering services for free at the moment to earn credibility and trust from you. Please, contact me with any questions, concerns, or inquiries. Thank you!

Providing tutoring lessons for friends in high school and college.

I am a physics student in my sophomore year of college. Sadly, I do not have too much experience but am a passionate S.T.E.M. student.

About the lesson

I like to engage in what the student is interested in. Usually, it's easy for students to be more successful in subjects they find interesting and have fun with. If a student has a passion for S.T.E.M. related courses, we can easily build a map of what they understand and do not. For students that are not fond of S.T.E.M. I like to understand their passions and relate them to the subject being discussed. Finding a way to make learning interesting is the key to keeping students receptive. After, creating sample questions to have them answer, we can see where the student does well and not so well. Also, I want to take time to see what the student feels like they want to focus on so we can prioritize their needs based off of their confidence in their work, as well.

Anyone student taking a S.T.E.M. related course, no matter the intended major.

Students being comfortable and confident in what the teacher has to offer is important. Come up with questions that you may be concerned with and see how the teaching candidate responds. Take into consideration how their responses make you feel and if you, personally, feel confident that they are able to help you in the ways you need.

Before approaching a teacher for help with anything, it's important to self-reflect on the work you're having issues with. Try and look over the questions and see if you may have made any errors. If you're confused, highlight where you got lost for review.
