About Zihao
I am a Ph.D. in pure mathematics, equipped with a strong foundation in the subject and the ability to provide insightful and comprehensive instruction to students of varying proficiency levels. My experience includes serving as a TA for a linear algebra class with around 60 students, where I guided them through exercises, illustrated complex concepts, and addressed any difficulties they encountered. Additionally, I worked as a math tutor for three high school students, witnessing significant improvements in their grades within just a few months. Beyond my academic knowledge, I possess a deep understanding of high school students’ unique learning needs. By fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment, I encourage active participation and critical thinking, enabling students to grasp complex mathematical concepts confidently. To cater to diverse needs, I utilize various instructional strategies, such as visual aids, real-life applications, and interactive exercises. My ultimate goal is to help students excel academically and cultivate a genuine appreciation for mathematics.
