About Sarah
With over four years of professional experience inside and outside the classroom, I strive to meet students where they are and get them to where they want to be. I have experience working with students in grades 2-11 with all abilities including those in special education. I would love to help ease some of the pressure of our new normal of online education for studnets and their families!
I graduated from Allegheny College in 2016 with an Environmental Science major and an education minor. After graduating, I spent two years teaching high school Biology in North Carolina where I obtained my teaching license from East Carolina University. Currently, I work at a Pittsburgh Public School where I teach middle school.

I like to discuss what the student's goals are and make sure they feel comfortable. We will lay out a strategy together! It's all about communcation and collaboration.
I have worked with a wide variety of students in all grade levels. From students just getting started in second grade all the way up to juniors in high school. I also have worked with students in the special education system to help create more accessible content.
Make sure your teacher listens to what you want to get out of a tutoring session. They are working for you! Dont' be afraid to ask questions so you get the most out of your experience.
