About Blue
I have been teaching since I was 15. I spent some time tutoring in high school but started my first job as a ski and snowboard instructor when I was 15. In my recent years, I focused on coaching children in different sports such as basketball and soccer. I've also participated in after-school programs, frequently sat in elementary classrooms, and worked in special needs classrooms as well.

I've spent a lot of my time coaching kids in sports. I also spent a lot of time being coached as a child myself. I responded to coaches very well and best to the teachers in my life who acted like coaches. The most important part of a student/mentor relationship is the relationship itself. As a child, you are going to listen to the adults in your life who care about you and that show you, that you matter. Children want to learn, I focus my process on finding the way they learn best and showing them that learning can be exciting.
