About Richard
I am a Mathematics Major and Education Minor from UC Davis, future math teacher, who loves to understand and teach math. I will work with your material comprehension style to learn and solve any problem you may have.
Fell in love with math, and needed to share it with as many people as will listen.
I am a Math Major at UC Davis, and I am in the works to becoming a future math teacher. I am an expert in Calculus and all the math courses that preceede it, as well as being knowledgeable in many topics beyond that of calculus including Linear Algebra and Differential Equations.

I will ask them to describe what they have been learning in class lately and how they have arrived at the difficulty they are having. Most people don't exactly know what their fundamental misunderstanding is when trying to solve problems that don't 'click'. I aim to find and address that to allow for deep comprehension of the material leading to easy problem solving.
I have worked with middle schoolers, and college students of my own age, and everyone in-between.
Reach out and be personable with the teacher you are looking to hire. Just give as much information as you can about your situation and what your offer is and the teacher is wise enough to take it or leave it depending.
I am excited when I read articles about recent advancements in physics and science that are getting fundamentally more math oriented.

A student should obviously question whether the problem they have is a lack of quality instruction, or something that requires a one on one interaction with a subject matter expert.

Flexible. If I have to travel I will charge more. Money is a struggle for everyone so for now I will say $15/hr standard plus a travel fee if applicable.
