About Mike

I am passionate about helping people solve all sorts of problems, and look forward to hearing from you! Whether we work together on math concepts, business topics, Microsoft Excel tutorials, household budgeting, or soccer skills - I'm certain we will solve problems together, and have fun doing it!

My teaching has been a result of my life and career. As a soccer coach, leader in my career, and dad to three kids, I've enjoyed such varied interactions on various topics with young people as well as young professionals.

I have a finance undergraduate degree, and a graduate degree in banking. Over the years I've helped many people with a variety of problems, coached soccer for 20 years, and helped my own three children over the years with math, business, finance, soccer, and a variety of other issues.

About the lesson

First, I seek to understand the issues currently facing the student. Then, we will determine how best we will work together. Finally, we will make a goals-based action plan to ensure we accomplish what's necessary.

From elementary-aged to young professionals

It would be helpful to have a good understanding of what you're wanting to achieve, then partner with a teacher to accomplish that.

I very recently enjoyed helping a middle school student understand slopes, intercepts, equations, and proportions.
