About Samantha

Goal-oriented tutor bringing 7 years of education experience. In-depth knowledge of literature and mathematics and excellent relationship-building abilities. Dedicated to individualized student support.

Passionate and eager to assist both struggling and advanced students to improve understanding and academic performance.

Knowledgeable and proficient in assisting homebound learners. Technologically-savvy with advanced understanding of Facetime, Zoom, Google Drive, and other platforms. Offering diverse subject awareness.

My first exposure to tutoring began in middle school where I was actively involved in mentoring the younger students and helping them with homework. Throughout highschool and into college I've taken that experience and became my own private tutor. To this day, I continue to work with on a regular basis, those in the range of 3rd-8th grade.

About the lesson

Our first session would involve standard introductions as well as some intial assessments surrounding the subject of interest. I aim to make the student feel comfortable in my ability to connect and teach them as well create an encouraging learning environment.

I've worked with a wide range of students at various ages, grades, and learning levels. They typically fall within the 3rd-8th grade range. I am also comfortable with tutoring highschool students.
