About Dudley

I was a career changer. I worked on the assembly line at General Motors for 4 years. A friend who worked at a Juveline Detention Facitlity needed help tutoring math to at risk young adults. I jumped at the chance since I love math. I feel in love with tutoring them, and subsequently became a high school math teacher.

I have been a high school math teacher for 15 years. Also, I've privately tutored the entire 15 years.

About the lesson

I like to get to know a student a little bit the first session. Their interests/hobbies and such. That way I have an outlet to connect with them. Also, I like to try and ascertain the students self made aware strengths and weaknesses the first few sessions. That makes it easier for me to tailor my lesson to their needs.

I have worked with students that runt the gamut. All the way from at risk like I mentioned previously, to students in the gifted program in my school district. I am able to acclimate myself and my practices to the needs of my students.

Try a tutor out and don't feel bad if they are not a good match. All of tutors are professional and we want what is best for you.

I took my 6 year old twins to a movie. That was very rewarding and fun.
