About Rehet
I've struggled long and hard with subjects of my own, so I've had to rely on tutors in the past to help me out and I know how some have helped me and some didn't. I have learned to come up with unique ways to help students learn their materials so it not only is remembered for the upcoming test, but for the long term as well. Every student is an individual person and has their own learning style and I take pride in knowing that I can tutor based on their style and do whatever makes them comfortable. I have been tutoring for the past 5 years of my life-- and I have tutored anywhere in between Kindergarten to 12th graders.
I love that every person is different and seeing the light bulb moment go off is one of the greatest moments of being a tutor. Sometimes it takes more than one try for that lightbulb moment, but the more work that goes into it, the better the moment becomes.
I started when I became unhappy with the way my teachers were teaching me. I felt as if I needed more material and more practice, but in class it just went too fast. Soon enough, I realized I wasn't the only one who felt like that so I started off tutoring maybe 1-2 fellow classmates in math and soon it expanded to other students and subjects!
I graduated from Clovis North High School with honors, and am currently a premed student at California Northstate University, meaning most of my classes deal with science and math.

I learn about the way the students learn first and try to go from there. Some can memorize immediately while others need a more hands on approach. Topics are taught in a way where the student remembers the information so that it can be applied in any given scenario.
I have worked with kids from K-12 on all different types of subjects.
Find a teacher that matches your learning style, whether that be someone to just test you on the knowledge you just memorized or someone who can hand draw every geometric figure, find someone that works the way you learn.
My friends and I had decided to go out for Thai food one night, but the restaurant we had selected had actually closed down. It led to an hour of finding a place to eat and then driving 30 more minutes to get coffee and boba. Afterwards, it was late and we all decided to watch daylight savings occur-- literally watching the clock go from 1:59 am to 3 am instead of 2 am-- and ended up staying up the rest of the night to watch the sun rise :)
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think students need to think about what as a student they could be doing more of or doing better. If they are not doing homework assignments, start by doing those. Do homework to understand the material, not just for points. Go to the teacher when you do not understand a concept. If then, the problem still occurs then go talk to the teacher and ask them what you can do to improve in their class.

she's funny & dedicated!! even if she doesn't know something, she will admit it and then look it up to teach it to you instead of teaching you some bs thing that isn't right to avoid looking stupid!!
the greatest thing about her is that she reviews your material before she comes to the session so she knows exactly what she's talking about!! she puts in so much effort that if she was busy the day before or didn't have a chance to look at the material, there is a chance she will cancel because she does not want to waste your time. I love her!!
She strives off your excellence!! If you succeed, she succeeds. If you don't, she works on what you could have done better and what should have happened in order for you to get to the 100%. I've had many tutors, but she is the only one who actually cared about her students and how they felt. There would be times where I would come in sad, and instead of diving into math right away she would make sure I was ok first. You're in good hands if you choose her
all you need to know is that you will have fun learning. and learning isn't fun ever. but somehow she adds stories to everything so that you're laughing and smiling while taking antiderivatives
She is an angelic person who only wants the best for you and tries her hardest to make sure you succeed. I feel as if because she has had a hard time herself with these subjects she knows what you are going through as a student and a learner and can relate to it as a result. Her teaching style is very unique and I've been in school for 12 years now. I would highly recommend her.
If it wasn't for her, I probably would have failed out of my Calculus and Biology classes. She'll give you analogies so that you can remember it or she'll help you create your own story so that you can apply it and memorize it whenever needed. My teacher was amazed at how much I had improved after going to her because I had always been one to suffer in math and science. She saved my grades and even though I did bad on a test once, she took it into her hands to make sure I knew EXACTLY why I missed the questions I did and we went over the concept so many times I got a 100% on the final for that section. She's the greatest and I'm sad she moved away, but she's someone that can teach online too which still helps me out!
shes the best
she cares about u and how u feel. if u dont like chem, she wont force u to like chem but shell make sure u learn chemShe wants you to learn the material for the long term and not just for the test. As a result, she constantly will give you problems that practice application and not just recalling from a textbook
She's very kind and considerate. She takes your learning seriously and goes over any material herself before every session to make sure everything will go smoothly and that there will be no hiccups
