About Brendon

I enjoy teching math of any kind and I am currently enrolled in college. I have finished up to Calculus 2 and I am planning on majoring in Math. I have been tutoting family memebers and other students for 3 years.

I am very engaging and I always want my students to do their best and I encourage that through hard work and dedication. I also think it is important to praise students when they do well so it will encourage them to continue trying hard.

I helped one of my friends in highschool and he said that I would be a really good tutor so I tried it out and I really enjoyed it.

I have finished up to Calulus 2 in mathematics and I have helped mulitple students in and out of school in math.

About the lesson

I would start with a few icebreakers and ask them what they think their strengths and weaknessess are. I then go on from there.

I have worked with a variety of students from all ethnicities and backgrounds. I believe diversity is importatn and I think everyone that I have worked with has taught me something new.

I would say to look for someone that is willing to go the extra mile and not just let their students off easy. I think a teacher should be able to be in good standing with their students so that it can be a productive learning environment.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I would ask the students to think about what they could imporve on and what they would need more assistance in so that I can prioritize certain areas.
