About Alex

I have always enjoyed teaching. I always helped my friends with the homework and assignments since high school whenever they were struggling. I enjoyed their reactions very much when they fully understood the problems rather than giving out my answers. I've always looked for different and easier solutions and thanks to my great teachers, I understood the numbers better than most of my college friends. I started working as a peer tutor in college mostly because I needed money but then my tutees liked how I taught and that's how I got my schedule packed for every week.

I just received a master's degree in microelectronic engineering from RIT and I have bachelor degree in electrical engineering from NYIT. I have taken all the math courses up to differential equations and have good understanding. I have worked as a tutor throughout my college years and have helped a lot of students to get better grades and show them different and easier ways of solving various math problems.

About the lesson

I usually give simple problems to new students to see how much understanding they have on the subject, depending on the education level.

I have worked with a lot of different students, but most are struggling to pass. I had to go back to very basis and explained step by step very patiently. I also met very good students who just wanted an A and they were much easier to handle.

A lot of math tutors are very good and know what they are talking. Look for someone who understands the basis and know multiple solutions for a problem.
