About Aidan

I am someone who loves the beauty in learning. I know that not everyone has this same passion and I work to meet students where they are to help them grow in a fun and rewarding environment.

I love helping students understand mathematics. My favorite part is when it clicks and they feel confident in their abilities.

I graduated from Pacific Lutheran University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. I loved working with other students throughout college and worked as a Math Department grader for several professors.

About the lesson

I like to start to get to know the student by asking questions about their interests, where they need help, and if they have any particular learning styles they like best.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Do I understand what the problem/assignment is asking? Can I follow along with the examples? Is there a particular spot I get confused or do I feel totally lost? Does one type of learning technique work better for me that could help me understand?

I think asking questions, being curious, and vocalizing needs is a brave way to demonstrate that a student's learning is important to them.
