I truly enjoy math, and helping kids see that math is fun and cool is something I find really fulfilling. I have taken math through differential equations and complex analysis.

Understanding math can be a complex process, so multiple steps must be taken to ensure full comprehension of a subject area. Practice problems are a great way to learn an area in math and establish the extent of a student's knowledge. Once this has been determined, I can fill in the gaps of understanding so that the student can complete more complex problems. Also, understanding why math works helps exponentially, so I place emphasis on understanding what is happening and why what's happening works. Lastly, I help establish mathematical sense that can be used no matter what subject in math a student is studying.
