About Charlotte
I am a recent university graduate looking to share my science and math knowledge by tutoring middle school and high school students or undergraduate college students.
My background is in biology, with a BS in ecology from UC San Diego and a MS in biology from Wageningen University. At the latter I worked as a teaching assistant for graduate level statistics.
I currently offer tutoring for the following sciences: life science, high school biology, high school chemistry, AP biology, AP environmental science, and undergraduate ecology. And for math: middle school, algebra I/II, pre-calculus, AP statistics, and undergraduate statistics.
I have a BS in ecology from UC San Diego and a MS in biology from Wageningen University. In my undergraduate career, I frequently tutored peers in math and ecology courses. During my graduate career, I worked as a teaching assistant for a grade level statistics course.

I like to start by asking the student to identify their strong and weak areas of the subject and ask them their goals for tutoring (e..g, prepare for a specific exam, understand specific concepts better). When working with students seeking tutoring for improvement, I usually work through exercises or problems with them while for students seeking tutoring for increased understanding I start by reviewing the concept from the very beginning and working upwards.
