About Rachel
I am currently a 2nd grade teacher and have been for about 4 years now so I have a strong passion for teaching. My strengths have always been in math however, I do teach all subjects and am comfortable tutoring all subjects. I have worked for Varsity Tutors and Tutor Doctors while finishing my degree for teaching.
I absolutely love teaching and growing the next generation. It is such a pleasure watching students grow into who they will become as an adult. I also love the "light bulb" moment kids get when they have been struggling with a subject for a while but then it suddenly clicks. That is honestly my favorite part about teaching/tutoring.
I currently hold a teaching certificate through Colorado Department of Education for k-6th general education. I am also hold an endorsement to teach Geography/Social Studies through 12th grade as that is what my bachelors is in. I am working towards getting my endorsement in math through 12th grade.
