About Beth
I have been a teacher for 34 years. I know that sounds like a long time but I really enjoy what I do. I have a special Education degree and have taught slow learners and also gifted learners. There are many ways to solve math problems and different students need different strategies to be successful. I currently work at an alternative middle/high school. I have taught Algebra I,algebra II , geometry, foundations, and problem solving.
I always knew I wanted to teach from when I was little. I love learning and get great satisfaction when I can share the educational experience with others.
I have a Mathers degree in Education and hold the highly qualified status in middle and high school mathematics. I have been team leaders in schools I've worked in.

Usually, I see what a student knows and comprehends and work with their strengths to help them be successful. Depending on their needs , every student I've ever worked wit has found success. We would work together through the problems until the student has a good understanding.
I have taught very single grade from first through college. I have taught students with varied disabilities. I have also taught gifted students as well.
I am an active community member and have just received "Lion on the Year" award from. The Milford lLions Club. I have taken students traveling ....to Australia and Washington, D.C.
i enjoy traveling and have been to many places.
