About Juliana
I am currently in AP Calculus BC (Calculus 2), and I've tutored people in math at school for about 3 years. I speak English, Portuguese, and a little bit of spanish (but I understand it well). I always do a research on the topics the student needs help with before the session so I can better help them, and so that everything is still fresh on my mind.
I started tutoring in my freshman year of high school in a math club at my school, 3 years ago.

I usually see what they know first, and as we work through their activities I see where they are struggling with and help them understand the topic better. I always try not to answer the questions for them, but clarify the topic so they can answer themselves. In the meantime, I try talking to them and being friendly so they can feel comfortable taking to me.
I've worked with students in all math classes from Algebra 1 until AP Calculus AB (Calculus 1). I have also worked with English speakers, spanish speakers, and Portuguese speakers.
