About Yung

Hi, I will be glad to solve math problems with you! You can simply call me Yung or Ms. Le. I was a student teacher in 2019 and had my teaching credential in 2020. Now I’m pursuing the Master’s program in education with an emphasis on teaching foundational mathematics. I am ready to work with you in Basic Math, Pre-algebra, Algebra, and Geometry.

Albert Einstein once said, "Pure mathematics is in its way the poetry of logical ideas." So, let's put our thoughts on our mathematical poem together!

I was a student teacher in 2019 and had my teaching credential in 2020. I’m pursuing the master’s program in education with an emphasis in teaching foundational mathematics.

About the lesson

First, we need to share something about each other for a while and build a trusting relationship between us.

Second, I need to find out what the student struggle with. Then I will find appropriate ways to help the student overcome their mathematical difficulties.

I worked with many students with different types of mathematical struggles when I was a student teacher.

I know if students are willing to work hard, they will be successful in learning math

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I suggest at least a few following questions students should think through before talking to teachers about their needs.

1. How do I understand a math problem? Which one did I already know, and which one have I not yet understood?

2. Do I have any idea of how to solve the problem? If I have it, I need to write it down.

3. Should I send my teachers the problem for saving our time together?

Perfect! My daughter Daniela was struggling alot with the concepts of fractions, 4 digit division. In 2 weeks she got it with the great help of Ms Yung! She is very patient and explains very well. My daughter is very happy with her tutoring. We definitely recommend Ms. Yung :)

Hello, I'm in 7th grade right now. Mrs. Le has helped me understand algebraic concepts including Linear Equations, Algebraic Equations, and Graphing. She helped me greatly only with a marker and a whiteboard. Without her, I wouldn't be in Math 1 at my school. Also, she is less strict than my previous math teacher when I was with her and uses real life problems in math which makes it more fun and useful. Mrs. Le understands what problems I have in math and is often caring about my understanding and my progressive learning.
