About Anastasia
Hi! Welcome to Grypus Tutoring! My name is Anastaia and I run this small company from my home! I'm very passionate about education in a variety of subjects–from English to math to sciences–I can help you with just about anything! I bring a certain enthusiasm to my tutoring sessions–an enthusiasm I earned working at Walt Disney World!
I love talking to people, meeting new people, and I am just genuinely passionate about helping people. I want everyone to feel happy and secure about their education and I am here to help you meet your goals!
In high school I was hired as a geometry tutor–simply because I liked the subject and had fun with it–I had great success with that student and her test scores improved dramatically.
In college, I was employed as a Teacher's Assistant for our Oceanography course where I helped students make graphs, study for tests, and write their papers.
Additionally, in college I was employed as a writing tutor at my school's Writing Center to help students with their papers. At the Writing Center, we helped with not only essays, but poetry and pieces of short fiction. I worked with students on their grammar, spelling, style, and formatting (including citations).
