About Rachael

My name is Rachael and I have a passion for teaching mathematics. I'm graduating high school soon and I want to go on to become an accountant or mathematics professor. I've been teaching others in my class since I've been little and I've been tutoring for free for about 4 years now. I'm trying to earn some money to go to college and start my professional career while also helping out those who need help in a complicated and confusing field. I can tutor anyone from the preschool level to Calculus 1.

I love the challenge that math can be and the reward at the end. I also really love seeing the look on people's faces when they finally understand the concept that's been tricking them.

I got started very young because my mother and farther are both teachers. I helped to teach my fellow students all throughout school and still do.

I constantly take Advanced Placement classes in order to further my understanding of the subject. I recently completed Calculus 1 and I'm currently working on completing Statistics.

About the lesson

I really like getting to know students for a few minutes and figuring out which way is better for them to learn. Then we'll discuss the lesson or problems and work then out in whichever way suits them best.

I have worked with all types of students from Elementary, Middle, and High school.

Make sure your teacher is very patient and adaptive. The ability to teach in different ways is crucial to helping someone learn.

I recently went to West Virginia to be with my best friend and take a small break from school work. It was nice because I haven't seen her in so long and it's very rare for me to take a break from anything.
