About Jainam

As a year three electrical engineering student, I've taken quite a bit of mathematics which has given me a solid understanding of what it's like to look at formulas and be absolutely lost. I enjoy this process of working through the unknown, and I would be delighted to help another student approach their math in a way that promotes excitement and helps them appreciate the beauty to be found the world of numbers. I am qualified to tutor on Geometry, Algebra 1 & 2, Precalculus, Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III.

There is a certain beauty in math and the way that the pieces of the puzzle click into place makes me truly love working with these concepts. Along with helping a student succeed in their learning experience, I find tremendous glee in leading students to an outlook on math that not only inspires excitement, but will prepare them to take on the unknown.

I got started tutoring my friends.

-Pursuing a major in electrical engineering.

-Have taken geometry, prelagebra, algebra 1 & 2, pre calculus, and calculus 1, Calculus 2, and Multivariate Calculus (Calc 3)

About the lesson

First, I'd like to talk with a student in order to gauge how comfortable they are with the subject matter, how they go about trying to solve problems, and whether or not they enjoy math. After I understand their student type, I can begin looking through problem sets and lessons with them to see what skills are lacking. Along with filling the holes in the knowledge on the subject, I aim to teach students how to think about these problems. Optimizing a student's approach to math will make a real difference in their performance.
