About Eric
Graduated from Dartmouth College with a double major in Computer Science and Philosophy. I am bilingual in English and Chinese. Received a 35 on the ACT, 800 for SAT Math 2 and Physics as well as 770 on US History. I served in Teach For America as a certified California math teacher in Oakland Unified School District. Currently, I am working as a software engineer. I wish to use my experience and knowledge gained in my school years and professional life to help others in their pursuit of excellence in academics.
I really enjoy teaching others and seeing the growth in my students. Previously tutored students who have gone on to study at Yale and Northwestern.
I have tutored extensively in high school and college. After graduating, I served in Teach For America in Oakland Unified School district as a California certified math teacher.
