About John
I offer 1 x 60 minute session or 2 x 30 minute sessions per week. I have found that my students will focus their attention better with these shorter sessions.
My online sessions require no travel or family interuptions.
I enjoy seeing success with students. That "Ah Hah" moment.
I was a business owner when it was purchased by a competitor. I then decided to become a teacher in order to add a purpose to my life. I have been Teaching for 16 years.
I am a Licensed Teacher with 16 years of classroom experience. I participate in regular Professional Development and Curriculum Updates to stay at the leading edge of my profession.

I first like to interview the student talking about their strengths & weaknesses on the subject. We also establish goals for success. I then use a diagnostics test if necessary to determine their specific weaknesses in math.
I have taught many types of students. ADHD, EC, Behaviorally Challenged and a Blind Student.
Look for a complete teacher. Someone who cannot only tutor the subject, but also create an understanding of the real life application for the topics.
My Pre-calculus students exceeded their growth goals.

Details
My price is $50 per hour. At this rate I will conduct 2 x 30 minutes or 1 x 60 minutes per week. I prefer to book at least 4 weeks in advance.
