About Cheryl

I love to watch the faces of my students when they get it! I have helped many students gain confidence in their ability to understand math questions and pass math tests. Math is a passion of mine, number values are consistent and math rules are reliable. Puzzles are like math problems, all you need to solve a math equation is a method! Let me help you!

I have worked with grade school students keep up and pass their classmates, I have worked with Adult students get their GED or High School Diploma, and I have worked with College students gain proficiency and get quality results or tests. Math can be fun once you know the rules!

I had problems in High School with advance math classes. Once I got to college I thought there was no hope for me. Then one day, as I watched my Math Professor write a formula on the black board, it all begin to make sense. From there on was able to Complete four years of advanced Math classes with Calculus being one of my favorites. Since then I have been asked to tutor students in basic as well as advanced math. I have also been exposed to Accounting and Finance Math as well. I have tutored in these areas too.

About the lesson

I assess the students skill level, and review with them their goal. Then We begin. I have had experience tutoring grade school age children, college level advance math classes, as well as helping adult learners prepare for their GED or High School Diploma. I love math!
