About Sidney

I want to help my students to achieve their academic goals. I am a first-time tutor, however, I have had the opportunities to work closely with peers and see their tutoring methods first hand. I love helping and teaching students. My methods stand out because not only do I work hard to ensure that the student fully understands the material, but I also work to ensure that the student feels comfortable around me. I want to create a positive learning environment that is specific and aiding to each of my students to help them reach their end goal.

I do not have any training specific to tutoring. I have been able to successfully help my siblings in their Math and English courses. I also have one year of college expereince and received a 4.0 GPA in high school.

About the lesson

While working with students, I would like to tutor them in ways that best suit them and their learning styles. I would like to help them to find methods that ensure success not only in the classroom but in future classes where they find themselves stuck. In finding their learning methods, I can adjust my tutoring processes to better aid them.

I am a first-time tutor. I have helped my younger siblings with their Math and English, however have never worked with a student that I didn't know. I achieved a 4.0 GPA in high school and believe that I am qualified to begin this process.

To look for someone that they beleive that they would be comfortable around.

I recently went to Costa Rica and had the opportunity to learn how to surf. This experience although challenging and frustrating at times, was one of the most rewarding things that I have done.
