About Dr
I’ve been tutoring and helping students be successful in math for over 20 years. As a high school and college math teacher, I understand the standards and how to get you there. I provide virtual tutoring utilizing easy-to-use video and board sharing technology.
I love helping others understand how to learn and do math! I most enjoy seeing the improvements made and goals reached by my students. Watching students build their confidence and realize they CAN be successful in math is priceless!
I tutored friends and family beginning in middle school. I began teaching in graduate school as a student teacher and loved it. I decided then to go into teaching.
I have a BS and a MS in mathematics.

Typically when working with a new student I take some time to get to know them and their math history. I also like to get a feel for their current understanding of math and what challenges they are facing. Finally I discuss with them their goals for our time together.
I've worked with students of all ages from K through college at all different levels.
