About Melissa
My services stand out from other tutoring services because I offer programs that identify and address the underlying issues that are causing the current academic problems. Then I teach both the current course material as well as the prerequisite skills that are standing in the way of success.
I also offer both small group (3:1) and private (1:1) sessions in order to accommodate the various academic and financial needs of families with whom I work.
Above all, it is my enthusiasm and breadth of knowledge that make my services enjoyable and effective.
I enjoy most aspects of my job. First of all, I love learning, and any great teacher must first be a learner at heart. My passion for education seeps into my instruction, and students often respond positively to my enthusiasm. Secondly, I truly enjoy teaching. I teach because I find satisfaction in helping people to become better, stronger versions of themselves, for knowledge is power.
