About Robert
I first started teaching my piers in study sessions during highschool. After the people whom I helped grade's stated to improve more people began to seek my help.
I have education in almost all math courses offered through school. A firm grasp of algebra, geometery, and calculus. Although i don't have any offical tutoring experience I have helped a several friends and family pass tests and better understand math.

When working with a new student I prefer to first assess their current level of understnding so that we can start where the individual needs the most help, which more often than not isn't what they are working on but rather something they may have struggled with leading up to the topic they are working on.
Mostly highschool age students, however I have had a few college level students.
I would recomend making sure that you find someone who can help you to understand not only what you need to solve a problem, but also how to decide what equations to use when looking at a problem. It is very easy to learn how to do math. It is a lot harder to understand when to use your knowledge correctly.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think that students should know what it is that they are struggling with, as well as why how the teacher is presenting the information isn't enough to learn from. This way the tutor will be able to approach the topic from another angle.
