About Dominic
I get excited when students get that light bulb moment and they understand the concept of what they are learning and can help fellow students.
I was a 7th grade math teacher at IDEA public school from 2018-2019. My first half of the semester I taught a computer math learning course that involved students working alone and starting from their level of math and moving up as I helped out along the way if they needed help. The second half I was a math intervention teacher of about 10 kids per class for those students who were struggling. I currently have a degree in mathematics and enlisted in the army.
I got started teaching because i wanted to help other students find the love of math that I have.
I graduated with a B.S in Mathematics from Texas Tech University, tutored for approximately3 years in total at Mathnasium and was a teacher for a year.

I typically try to gauge their math level and write down things they are struggling on and look for good worksheets to develop those skills they are missing for the lesson at hand.
