About Jan
I have always loved math! It makes sense to me and my passion is helping others to understand math as well.
I am certified and have taught elementary grades 4-6, middle school, and high school including Alg. 1, Alg. 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and College Algebra. I retired as Dean of Math (adacemic associate) at Allen High School.
I enjoy helping students succeed in their math courses.
I started in Lubbock Texas after completing my undergrad in education and mathematics. (3 years)
The rest of my career was with Allen ISD:
Ford Middle School, Lowery Freshman Center , and Allen High School
I have an undergraduate and masters in education and a minor in mathematics from Texas Tech University.
