About Thomas
I always try to find a tutoring method so that my students understand the material in an easy way. I break down complicated topics into comprehensible parts. Furthermore, it is very important to me that during tutoring sessions, students become very confident with the study materials and that they have as many "aha moments" as possible.

I really enjoy seeing that students make immediate progress and over time, not only grades, but their confidence improves. I love it when I can bring joy into something that was daunting and complicated for students before.
I started to tutor and teach classmates in college for free.
I have a Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Engineering with a major in Biotechnology.

I put myself into their situation and see what topics they understand and where their strengths and weaknesses are. I also familiarize myself with the study material and prepare ways for explaining the material and also problems for them to solve. Additionally, I try to understand how fast they can learn new topics and then I adjust my tutoring to their pace.
I have profssionally worked with students from elementary, middle and high school and occasionally college.
