About Gabrial

I just finished a Master's in Structural Engineering at Stanford University and over the years have helped countless friends through their math and engineering courses. Now I'm ready to help you with yours! I currently work as an engineer where I use calculus, matrix theory, and other advanced math to solve complex problems. When I'm not at work I love to share my knowledge about math with others.

I've always been the one friends come to for help and guidance on their math and engineering homework. I was always happy to help them and share what I'd learned.

I have a Master's in Engineering from Stanford and use calculus and other advanced math in my job every day.

About the lesson

I offer a free trial session in order to get to know a student and make sure that my teaching style is a good fit for them. I also ask for a brief summary of topics that a student may need help with so that I'm fully prepared for each tutoring session.

I've worked with high school and undergraduate college students.

Look for a teacher who cares about your understanding of a topic more than getting a right answer on an assignment. Guessing your way to the right answer or relying completely on the tutor to get you through a problem isn't an approach that will work on an exam!

I recently landed my dream engineering job here in Los Angeles! I am tutoring in my free time and am excited to share things I learn during my day job with the students I tutor.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I always encourage students to try a problem on their own before asking for help! Even if you feel like you have no idea what you're doing, try and write out specific questions that if you had answers to you'd be able to get started on the problem.

I offer a free first trial session to make sure the student finds me to be a good match for their learning. After that, session prices are as follows and are on an hourly basis:

Online: $30

In person: $40 (I will drive to you)
