About Alyssa
Hey There! My name is Alyssa, and I love working with kids. I am a junior in highschool who aspires to be a teacher one day. I have worked as an elementary intern, and I am especially qualified for tutoring students in elementary and middle school math, and geometry as well. I would enjoy working with your child, and I would be glad to help them reach their academic goals and help them get set for highschool.
I have worked as a primary intern at the hisghschool I am currently attending. I would be assigned to help students with assignments that their teacher would give.

First and foremost I would want to introduce myself to the student, and get to the bottom of what they are struggling with through the assignment that they are given. I would ask them what they are learning, and we could go step by step through each problem. I would encourage them to not be afraid to ask questions or express their concerns, and I would encourage for the student to talk with their parents about what they are working on.
I have worked with elementary students, especially kindergarten, first, and second grade.
